Mike, his mother, Margaret (she’s 91 years young) and I are in Kentucky to see the eclipse in its totality. I love to paint the sun, but have never painted the moon in front of it until now. Now all we have to do is find a place to park and wait for the big event. My paints and canvas are ready to spread out under a shady tree, we hope.
